2021 Terraces Dry Riesling

Already showcasing some wonderful developed aromas, the aromatic complexity of this wine covers a very broad spectrum of characters. Beautiful honeyed and floral characters lifted with lemon sherbet, red apple, pear and peppered apricot, delicately perfumed with freshly cut cilantro and chives. A wine with endurance, the rich mouthfeel boasts delicious botanical-like flavours and notes of fresh pomelo, white peach and nectarine seasoned with lime salt. The chalky-like texture leads through the long mineral finish.
Quite a contrast of options, but this wine screams for salt, fat and crunch! Raclette, fondue, pork belly, creamy cheeses, Pasta Carbonara, shrimp scampi, sushi, Caesar salad with fried capers or salad rolls are a great place to start. The wine is quite dry so best to steer away from foods with too much sweetness or spice.
