2020 Skin Kissed Pinot Gris
With its gorgeous peach skin hues, this Skin Kissed Pinot Gris will surprise and delight! The juicy and sweet aromas of red apple, peach skin, cotton candy and rose water are balanced with ever-so-subtle savoury nuances of eucalyptus and tarragon. On the palate, it tastes like juicy apple cider and red apple skin and with a gently strawberry-infusion. It is light, fresh and delicate yet at the same time velvety and carries some weight, with a slightly herbal finish.
This is an extremely versatile wine and makes the sometimes daunting task of pairing wine with food very easy because it will pair with almost anything. That being said, definitely try a variety of fish: cedar plank or smoked salmon, ling cod, sable fish or other oily fish. A traditional shrimp boil or some Korean BBQ are also great choices.
