Tim moved to the Okanagan from Vancouver Island in 2000 and has been working in the wine industry since 2002. Starting out in sales and retail he quickly gravitated to the vineyard and began to study viticulture both locally and internationally. His passion for wine extends beyond grape growing and he has earned his WSET Level 3 with distinction and spent many holidays travelling the worlds greater and lesser known wine regions with his wife. Excited by the opportunity that O’Rourke Family Vineyards presented, he jumped at the chance to become part of the team in 2018, as it allowed the perfect opportunity to pursue his love of both the Central Okanagan and the classic Burgundian varietals!
